I graduated high school in 1999, shortly after, my first was born, I named her Kailey Shaye.
I was fortunate to be able to stay home with Kailey and work nights. A year later I decided to go to college and earned my Associates degree in Early Childhood Education. As far I could remember I always wanted to work with children.
During schooling I took on a job at a local Head Start where I was a TA. I worked there for 4 years and decided to get my Bachelors degree. I decided to pursue a degree in Human Services. In 2005 I met my husband Isreal, and we fell in love. We were engaged May of 2007 and May of 2008 we were married.
Shortly after, arrived our first born, Jaxson John, in August of 2008. We were ecstatic.
We both wanted a large family and I always wanted children close in age so when Jax turned 1 we planned for another. I was a stay at home mom and started a daycare.
In May of 2010 Hudson Kid was born, weighing in at a whopping 8 1/2 pounds.
With a girl and 2 boys we were over the moon. We don't know what the future holds for us but as of right now we have a perfect family, 3 children, 2 dogs and a cat. We own a home in a quiet little village. I am thankful that Isreal has a great job doing construction and I am able to stay home with our children. I have a daycare and watch children age ranges from 4 months to 11 years and loving every minute of it.
So that was then when I started this blog, and this is now......
I am still a stay at home mommy, daycere provider, but added a few more titles after my name also, but I am 30 almost 31 now. Many things have changed. In May of 2011 we had an opportunity to own a commercial building with rentals right here in the village we live in. After talking and thinking we decided to dive blindly into the landlord business. What an interesting business and learning experience it has been for us.
The whole building needed to be remodeled. We are still remodeling it a year later. In Sept of 2011 I decided to start my own business, a children's consignment shop. There wasn't one in our area and I thought it is what people needed in this area. I named it Snips & Snails Children's Consignment and 7 months later and over 100 consigners later I couldnt be more happy with our decision. We rent out another commercial office and 2 apartments upstairs.
